Student Government

Student government gives Wildcats a seat at the table – shaping campus life, advocating for students, and creating change that matters.

Undergraduate Student Government (ASUA)

ASUA represents undergraduate students across campus. From funding student organizations to hosting events and advocating on student issues, ASUA is where Wildcats turn ideas into action. Ways to get involved include:

  • Serving as an elected or appointed student leader
  • Joining student-led commissions and committees
  • Supporting events, initiatives, and campus-wide advocacy

Graduate & Professional Student Council (GPSC)

GPSC represents more than 11,000 graduate and professional students, advocating for academic success, funding opportunities, and access to campus resources. Opportunities to get involved include:

  • Running for a council seat or serving on campus committees
  • Volunteering at events and initiatives
  • Reviewing student grants and earning a GPSC Grants Reviewing Certificate

Club Sports

Want to compete and be part of a team? Club Sports let you train, travel, and play alongside fellow Wildcats while keeping flexibility in your schedule.

With 30+ student-run teams ranging from soccer and volleyball to rodeo and synchronized swimming, Club Sports welcome a wide range of interests and skill levels. Some teams hold tryouts, while others are open to beginners. Run by students and supported by Campus Recreation, Club Sports offer leadership opportunities, community, and the thrill of competition against other universities.
