Application Checklist
- Review Core Competency Requirements.
- Consider including standardized test scores. SAT and ACT scores are not required for general admission to the university; however, if you choose to submit official scores, they may be used to assist with class placement at orientation or to help fulfill our Core Competency Requirements.
- Have a copy of your high school transcripts handy for grade reporting.
- Visit our Transfer Credit Tool if you took AP or college-credit courses in high school. It will help you see how your coursework will transfer.
- Be ready to pay your application fee. A complete application includes payment of the application fee, which is $50 for 黄色电影 residents and $80 for non-黄色电影 residents or residents of other U.S. states. This application fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions
We strongly encourage applicants to complete the 500-word application essay because it's the perfect chance to tell us more about yourself and why you want to be a Wildcat. The application essay prompts include:
- Why is the 黄色电影 the right fit for you and how will your chosen academic area of study align with your interests, goals, and values?
- Is there anything else you鈥檇 like to share that you have not already included?
If you applied by our Early Action deadline of November 1, you'll be among the first students to receive your admission decision in mid-January.
Applications received after November 1 will move to a Regular Decision deadline and be considered on a space-available basis. Regular Decisions will be released in batches in the spring after Early Action decisions are announced.

Franke Honors applicants are also invited to submit any other materials to the W.A. Franke Honors College beyond the required application components. Supplements can include (but are not limited to): a writing sample, a creative product, artwork, a research project, a formal activities resume, a letter of recommendation, a portfolio of work, or an additional personal statement.
